I have had middle exams every weeks since March which will continue until this semester ending. And I have done 5 posters for one month. I AM TOO BUSY to relax. My roommates said I have had night-conversation for a long time. MURMUR... MURMUR.... EVEN THOUGH, I am so busy and tired, I have still thought my future. Should I changed my major? Many seniors told me I will be paid a lot of salary, if I get the radiologists' job. And if I go board to be Medical Physictist, I will get more money than I get in Taiwan. But am I outstanding to be the one? Recently, I don't like this university, because it was a senior high school. It always gives me the feeling that is I was living a high school student life. And a lot of friends of my department they would like to take entrance exams again. They not only don't like this university but also thought they want to study higher department such as medical science. Besides them, my junior friend, who would like to take medical transferring school exam. I am very hesitated. What should I do?

This was our middle-exam of biological experiment. We should recognize every blood vessels and understand the blood cycle. At first, we must got rid of the lungs. And, then, clean out all of the connective tissue, in order to make each vessel be identified easily. Finally, we cut it to be half. Because there were some questions about inside the heart. It was a very tired class. I thought I must spent a lot of ATP doing it. There is a rule that is we should preview some parts of system, circular system and do a report. One is I take a kind of class which I must collect eight seals and write my impression of one of the classes, then I will pass. Today, it is really wonderful. I breath my home town's, Taipei, air, see my family and chatted with my WSI friends. Do you know that? When I arrived Taipei, I was so excited. I am so glad that my friends also welcome and expect me to go there. Fortunately, I met Alex, Ellen, Ruby, Kevin...etc. I am so pleasure that she is always willing to share her secret with me. I am so lucky that Alex always teaches me a lot about " life". I am so happy that I make Ruby be my friend. All of them are really nice. The 90/10 Principle

Author : Stephen Covey ( Management Guru) Have you read this before? Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations). What is this principle?
10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.
How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light., but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.
Let's use an example. You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just what happened. What happens when the next will be determined by how you react.You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave
immediately for work.
You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day. Here is what could have and should have happened.
Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need, to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having. Notice the difference? Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both
ended different.
Why? Because of how you REACTED. You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.
Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc. How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off
Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive? Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.
You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job. The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take out your frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse. Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it.

I am so missing my family, because I didn't come home last week. I am counting down. Tonight, I ate a pumpkin pancake. It is so good that I would like to cook for my parents. I plan to buy some ingredients of a pancake. I also prepare to cook different tastes such as sweet potato and taros. About the ingredients are flour, cassava, Chinese broccoli, radish ,and dried laver. I forgot to tell you a thing. I would like to try another way to cook that is baking. Oh! I am too hungry to think. I will cook it by my heart, in order to make them feel my love. I hope I can do it successfully and express appreciation as much as I have. I can not wait for a minute

Today, I would like to introduce a special person. Who graduated from Chenggone High School and now study at the same school and department with me. Recalling before, one day we went home together from our college. At first he told me he forgot his key so he must go to his uncle's home to get it. I could tell you if I wouldn't have gone with him, he haven't had known where his uncle's home is. Actually, I don't know where it is. But ,fortunately, the house is near mine. How could I know it? The reason is he told me the house is at the same MRT station with me so he could accompany with me to go home. As soon as we left the station, he was not sure which direction is correct. I told him thet the probability of that location direction was 90%. At least as we went a long time he remembered it. However, after that day, he told me he still took a mistake. The right place is the next road. The thing was his uncle told him. There are a lot of this kind of examples. Except those he is a not only kind but generrous person. He really cares about me. He also has a sense of humer and good temperament. Finally, what is our relationship? We are brother and sister. I am so lucky that he is my old brother-non-in-blood.

Today! I don't have any topic! But I want to say I will go to WSI this Friday! And I should take my fighting fish go home. Because next week has four holiday about praying ancestors. cultivate the heart and nature

This weekend, I attended a conferecne about religion. The target was how to cultivate the heart and nature. We should not be let by external factors affect ourselves, but be as hard as iron and stone. We should learn how to identify whether the thing is true or not. We should understand helping people is equal to helping ourselves. We had better think more others than ourselves. We had better introspect ourselves but not criticize others. We should learn the way of examint our mind when we go to bed everynight. Therefore, we could know what we did is wrong and find which one we can do will be better even the best. As a consequence, we might not take the same mistake twice even be more successful. Finally, the most important and the most basic thing is filial towards our parents. One of the reasons is they not only the most intimate with us but also volunteer to do more things for oueselves than for themselves without payment. The other is if we want to be at the top of society, we must be able to live with our families in pease and deal with problems well at the first step.

At first, I had projected to preveiw my textbok, but I joined a activity and just back home. Tomorrow, I also plan to have a ceremony for my grandmother,but I will not join it. It has a far distance between truth and theory. So our schedules have always changed for many times. By the way, because I believe my grandmother will attend the religion conference, I am not going to join the ceremony. I mean it is symbolic I take her to attend the other conference which is more signifacant than the praying for her. WOW! I have not gone home. Because I am going to join the social club activity. I am a little missing my families. Today,I asked my brother-non-in-blood how to design the words type of the posters by computer at first. But, later, I found I didn't have any software that has this founction. So he would like to transfer the data for me. However, I didn't know how to use the software "Alcohol 120%" to emulate a cdrom, but always extract the image file (ISO files) to a directory and install from the directory. The problem is that the extraction always took ages, so my brother taught me the other way about how to use the software "Alcohol 120%" to emulate a cd directly from a image file, which saves a lot of time and decreases troublesome matters. So far, I would like to say is he used the way I never saw. He linked my computer and controlled it at his dormitory. One side is installing, another side is showing the way, and the other side is teaching me. I mean it was far distence controling. Amazing, right? He is not only intelligent and really good at computer technigue amd English. I so admire for his abilities and talent. Strangly, he also studies the same department with me. I asked him why not stuy engineering. He said"I like medicine." HA~Some people does not like his interesting to be job tools.

To my WSI friends

Time passes so quikly. It has been a long time since I left the WSI. So I haven't seen my friends for approximately there months. Alex, Kevin, Rogger, Ellen, Ruby, Safinia, Allen, etc. they all my friends forever. I really miss them so much. If I didn't need to live in the dormitory, I would be able to study English and chat with them. To them, they all have a sense of humor and also are good at English. All of them have special, colorful, and successful lives. Now only thing I could do for them is I hope them always enjoy their lives,overcome all of obstacles, and have a good health. This week is not my week. I just finish one step of my report about Nobel prize, then few mintues later, I was informed to do five posters to introduce our MIRS and I have to finish them before anniversary celebrations of our university. Another is my homework about physics which is too difficult to do it. The other is I have not preview my English paper for book club. I am so busy that I will get crazy. I should finish them sa quick as I can. So long~

Tonight, after I attended our medical department conference about Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation, I joined a new social club which target is about speaking English. There will be two speeches. The first one we can volunteer to prepare our speech, and the other is making an address immediately about table topic. I studied WSI and graduated at T2 level. At there, we can not speak in Chinese even we would like to ask questions. However, I need to live in the dormitory, I can not study at there anymore. Because I really want to continue to improve my ability of English, and I am unwilling to let my original ability go backward, I decide to join it. I really enjoy speaking English.

Now, I would like to talk about one of my best friends in senior high school. The one's nickname is Kitty, who has been my friend for three years, since we studied in the second years. Kitty is my confident friend because the one would always like to listen to me complaining and sobbing something out instead of only sharing the happiness. Furthermore, Kitty always gave me the hands when I had sebacks and felt frustrated. I really have a lot of beautiful memories he gave me, and I have still regarded them as my treasure. However, we have not talken something weighing on our mind. That is the reason I used past tense while I was typing. I was wondering the reason is whether we study at the different school or not. I really hope we can get along like before. Sometime,actully, I really want to talk to the friend I really miss him.

There is a homework that has been irritating me. We have to make a report about nobel prize in chemstry. The three winners named PAUL D. BOYER, JOHN E. WALKER, and JENE C. SKOU studied about ion-transporting enzyme,Na+, K+ -ATPase. There are some factors annoy me. The first one is the papers are all in English. The second one is too hard to understand. The last one is we were asked to report and teach our classmates like teacher. I am so tired ... ...

This affernoon, we had an experiment about Ethology. The study target is Fifghting Fish. There are a lot of attack and defence behaviors distinguished into Lateral threat display, Tail beating, Gill opening, Chasing, Biting, and Flee. After the fierce battle the looser's tail fins were broken. Most of them were black and blue all over. We have to watch and write downthe frequency appears in all kinds of attack and defence behaviors. By the way, just as the name said if this kind of fishes are together, they will fight. Ihat is right in theory, but in the practice it may not work. We found the wrong example as a result of this experiment. According to it, we understand some of fighting fishes do not have this characteristic but are peaceable. After this experiment some of us adopted some of fishes.

I will joy social club on Wednesdays. It is about religion. I am not a pious believer. But I just want to find a place that can nearly replace the family and let my soul have a temporary lodging. Although I go home on weekends, I am still unable to adapt to living in the environment at present. I miss my extraordinarily because if I had trouble, I always avoid and stay at home. But now, only one way I can do is face it and deal it. You know it really needs bravery. However I very fear if I make the thing badly and facing my guite disagreeable result. At there, I seem find the other home. Those people are so kind that I can feel warm and love. Even if they cannot give me some of my mother gives me, I like them very much. I like chat with them and eat dinner they cook together. Of course when I got alon with them, I always learn about how to handle affairs in life. I hope I really grow up.

He is a kind, gentle and courteous person. Alex is in the meridian of life. So far, I was wondering the man is a real good man why he doesn't have a girlfriend. My friened is so staid and good at English such as reading, speaking, grammar and vocabulary,etc.that he has seemed be my living dictionary. (He wears glasses and sideburns and has a sense of humor.He is 173 centimeters tall I guess. If someone wants to be his friend, I will introduce more for you.It will be better, if you are female. I have read a book named The Present. I have been learning a lot from the book. I will talk you what the book said after I finish it. Now I would like to mention about what I did after I read part of it. Today, I gave up the former habits. For instance, one is I always could not concentrate on classes. Another is I always spent a lot of time doing my homework, and reviewing even it was easy because I could not pay attention to deliberate about what they said. The other is I understand importance of preview but I had never done it except I know it will have the quiz before the class. However, I did the new and good habits today. I feel so wonderful because I have a sense of success. I made substantial changes. I hope I can persevere unremittingly.

Lastnight, we, my families, played pokers enjoyable. Today we had well-being while we were eating our lunch. However, as we were chatting about the movie named Perfume, my father criticized my younger sister. I was wondering that why my father gave her that criticism which is about her characters. He meant she is so klind that she will joy some religion like my aunt, who is really devout. At this time the problem coming up, my sister thought there isn't any relation between the topic and the criticism, so she askes him. Maybe their bad tone irritated each other, then my father having a row with her. I tried to clear this misunderstanding and did whatever I could do, but it didn't work even a little. After that I have too been sad to did anything. If they had held down, it would not have happened. To think twice before we act. I really hope their relationship can be like before.

The wind is bitter, the fog is heavy, the sky is overcast, and the rain is successional. As far as I concern, even the sun never show up. The kind of weather has been keeping for a long time. Not only me but also my friends cannot stand it, but strangely if it is colder and colder, the flowers will become more and more beautiful such as rhododendron. It is unbelievable, right? The hole mountainside are covred with many this kind of flowers as much as you cannot image. Besides this, this kind of flowers have a lot of color such as white, red, pink, and purple that make this mountain be colorful which seems it has make up. Because of them our school still can be pretty in the cold spring, they have more contribution than us. THANKS A LOT!

Tonight, I have been very busy.I have to finish this diary as soon as possible, since I must review my chemical experiment about dangerous signs later. At the begining, I did my biology experiment homework, which was really difficult to answer all the questions about Chromatography and spectrum analysis. We research on Tuesdays, and we did it on this week. I surfed the Internet to find acetone, petroleum about the ratio imformations and anthocyanoside about its structure and qulities and used Excel to draw a chart of wavelengths and O.D.. We also researched on chlorophy a, chlorophy b, beta-carotene and xanthophy. The study was not difficult to do but the theory is so complicated that I spent plenty of time finishing it. It not only took much time but also almost let me out of my mind. I had better go and say good night now. BYE BYE

TOday, I was really excited while I was playing billiards with my classmates. It is my second time to play it, so you know I am not good at playing the game. I was so embarressed by I slipped up billiards many times even without touching it. HA! HA! It was quite funny, wasn't it? Fortunately, I did play the final billiards exactly, which we had played. Because it was the last ball, it had a meaning for us. It was the most interesting gym class than the other classes which I have taken since I came here, this school.

So happy now! Because I am able to post at least. Today is the ninth day at school for the second semester, but I have not found what I can do. Actually, I know there have been a lot of things waiting for me to do and plan them, however I have not prepared to face it. This Friday I will with my seniors, who study at the same department with me and their last digital number is also the same to eat dinner. This is our first time to go out, about this activity to my friends they eating many times, and I hope this time we really can hold and enjoy it. Of course, if one of us cannot join, we will cancel it and I will feel sad. GOOD LUCK!!

I am hesitate about graduated party, because it will be held on Thus. The problem is I will be still at school on that day, it is really inconvenient from school to WSI. I am not caring about the diplomas but my friends. We have not seen each other for a long time.I really miss all of you, and I am sure you expect me join it a lot.
